This is the skins thread, for player support go to the GridStream Player official support thread!

The skins below are included with the player installer, those who are not will be included in a future player update.
To install/use additional VUMeter skins simply download and put them in the \GridStream Player\vumeter\ directory, then right click the GridStream icon in your tray and choose Load VUMeter, if you cancel the filerequester it will revert back to the internal/built-in VUMeter again.

Right click on the desired image and "Save As..." to your \GridStream Player\vumeter\ directory.

well my first few aren't nearly as exciting, I went for simple functionality..
        
    
   
  
This next version of the matrix code uses transparancy, looks wierd on pale desktops, but looks great in game.

Dirty skulls, dirty crossbones (yar matey!) and of course the Crimson Ghost 
  
The last two leave a thin spike in the middle from top to bottom, otherwise the skulls/ghost end up looking split in half. If anyone wants, I can post the version with that center transparent line although I prefer them without. |
